Baltec operates internationally to develop and supply solutions for the gas turbine power industry specifically to convert simple cycle power station into combine cycle power.

Our organisation is currently going through an organisational structural change with the view to increase growth in the international market. We are an engineering, procurement and project management firm that specialises in the supply of bypass exhaust equipment and inlet filter houses predominantly for the gas turbine power industries. We operate and manage projects globally and fabricate our equipment both locally and overseas.

Job Requirement

The successful candidate will ideally possess experience in the fabrication of steel equipment and the following:

• Read mechanical 2D fabrication drawings

• ASME or AWS qualified and have certificates

• NDT inspection qualified and certificates

• Experienced with mechanical fabrication workshop

• Can review QA documents such as MDR, WPS, WQR & PQR with respect to ASME or AWS

• Can review Packing List and inspect finished goods

• High level of English speaking abilities and writing skills

• Proficient with MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel & Project)

• Willing to travel

We are looking for a self-motivated team player with an understanding of fabrication process, ASME, AWS, welding documentation, MDR, etc…. Candidate with high level interpersonal and effective communication skills is highly regarded.
